Blocking download from and access to the Opera website We've tried a number of different methods for blocking Opera, but short of disabling USB ports on all of the student devices to prevent use of a portable version of the app, we cannot stamp out its use. I consult and provide sys-admin services for a mid-size school, and an ongoing issue we're experiencing is students using the various capabilities of the Opera Browser to bypass most of the network and application security, as well as content restrictions on my client's network. ![]()
